Volunteer Christmas dinner?
Volunteer Christmas dinner?
So, anyone up for a Forest potluck Christmas dinner on the 22nd at the café? I know there's not much time to organize things, but hey, it's never to late.

Re: Volunteer Christmas dinner?
Okay so i think this is a great idea, we should have the dinner at 7 and i will cook some nut roast and brussle sprouts with chestnuts and make some spiced chutney and also we should have a big pot of mulled wine, if people want to bring some extra food that would be great, also if people want to come in around 3 to help me cook i would also like that. This is a christmas solstice thanks from the forest for all volunteers so it will be free, then we can listen to some christmas tunes and throw snowballs at each other. Hope people can make it. post a reply if you are going to come so i can have a rough idea of food to cook. see you there.

Re: Volunteer Christmas dinner?
we should definitely have potluck though: bring your own christmas/solstice specialty... but I'll do youse all a favour and leave the BBQ prawns at home (my dad's favourite christmas breakfast...)

Can't make it until 5 at the earliest but could bring carrot, corriander & butterbean soup - probably enough for about 6-8 servings. Could make more if I have time but doubt I will.

Hi there!
Hope you are all fat and ugly after having the Christmas dinner. I'll be back soon (if the snow lets me so).
Enjoy the last minutes of Christmas and prepare yourself for the New Year hehe...
