Halloween
Halihó!
Are we planning to do something for Halloween?
I thought that we could organize a pumpkin-lapm making workshop on Saturday (30th) and then we could use the rest of the pumpkin in the kitchen (pumpkin soup, cake whatever). In this way we would have both the decoration and the food for the next day.
On Sunday we could make an exclusive free shop: use the stuff from the free shop for preparing costumes for the party.
Opinions? Any ideas?

Re: Halloween
Yeah, that's what I thought too.
So, what about this:
Saturday (30th):
4-8pm: BYOP (Bring your own pumpkin, lamp making workshop)
Sunday(31th):
1pm-?: Free shop - Halloween style, prepare your own costume for the night...
9pm-late: Halloween Party (in the Hall?)
+on Sunday: preapare the pumpkin: soup, cake etc. + decorate the café with the lamps + decorate the Hall?

don't forget, the 31st is also Samhuinn, a lot of people will go to watch the performance and probably go to the after party.

What if we do everything on Saturday then?
Is there anybody up to make a gig, DJ set?

Re: Halloween
dont forget about mouldwine (how do u spell it?:).
As i said before, we can advertise that ppl bring their own wine and we turn it into gluehwine for modest 3 pounds + corkage or sth like that. And call it a blood drink hehe
what do you think about it? Is it worth doing money/time wise? Will 3 pounds cover spices/electricity cost? They probbly will, but asking just in case.
We can offer making it from 8 pm when the kitchen is less busy, for example.

Re: Halloween
It could be done. Mould wine takes a while to make, so people could bring a bottle and get a bottle's worth of mould wine back. It just wouldn't be the same one. You could have a couple of pans with a couple of bottles on the go (so that you don't end up with 10 different wines mixed together), and a funnel and strainer.
Delia recommends a Bulgarian Cabernet Sauvignon, I seem to remember.
