So I was visiting Ellie's tree on Arthur's seat (I think it's a maple of some sort) and it isn't looking very well. It has hard white raised spots on the bark, and the leaves are looking a bit yellow and curled rather than lush green.
Anyone here with any expertise on such things?
Is it a serious problem? What can be done about it?
Ellie's tree
Re: Ellie's tree
its a swedish silver birch.
try googling these things?

Maybe it could work? But it will be a kaleidoscopic blend of mysterious shadows and rainbow hued-dreams seen through compassionate tears.
Re: Ellie's tree
there must be someone who can help - some of the dirty weekenders crew? Julian?

Re: Ellie's tree
Yeah, I thought it was a silver birch, but the leaves don't look at all like birch to me, unless the Swedish one is really different. I have tried googling but didn't find anything useful.
I love the bomb.
Re: Ellie's tree
Ah, just found a picture, the Swedish ones do indeed have quite different 'cut' leaves.
I love the bomb.
