So I just went down to the Cave to play the piano for a bit and noticed it was making a strangle noise.
Upon opening the top of the piano, I discovered that 8 empty cans of Tennants had been crammed inside the piano, damaging several of the hammers and dampers.
I've fixed it up as best I can but there is still some lasting damage (not to mention a nasty smell). I think we will now need a professional piano repair person, rather than just a tuner.
I think we need to talk to all bands who were in the Cave yesterday and Saturday and possibly look at banning the culprit for a short time?
Why do people do this? We provide space and equipment and they just abuse it. Tossers.
