Two Pianos Looking For A New Home

area: Edinburgh

Two upright pianos are in need of a new home. Any voluntary organisations in the Edinburgh area who would benefit from one (or both) should call Mrs Colman on 0131 552 9253 or 0770 108 4567. Apparently one is in better condition than the other and both would need to be re-tuned after being moved. If interested, you would need to pick it up yourself (not literally . . .).

Sadly, no. They are a mean breed.

I could have met that very same gentleman today! We had a little chat, he's happy to come in and do it regularly for cheese and beans on toast.

He's going to have a look at it and see if he can take it to concert pitch. This would mean consecutive tries as the strings slack easily, so it needs to be nudged bit by bit over time.

He'll come in when he can. Preferably 10 if he can get it in. If he comes, make him some tea and food, turn the music off and let him get on with it. He's pretty dead on.

Steve. Steve is our saviour.

Can we get this guy back? The piano desperately needs tuning.

Her ar a few guys who do pianos.

I have a good feeling about Joel.. I tried to call, no answer.
Edinburgh Violins & Burnett Pianos are the guys we used last time.

someone else want to book a guy to come and fix/tune the two pianos we have?... the one in the Cafe is most important.
