Our current Lawnmower man, The Swith aka S-Sawg, aka S.ir cular S.aw, aka Swith Bom, aka Swithun, aka Mr Swithers, aka Swiths a riot going on! aka Grand Master Swith.....
will be out of the country on the date of the Dec. 19th Golden Hour. This will be a fantastic party with great bands and musicians and poets. We have the excellent Robert Alan Jamieson who will be reading poems based on slides which will need to br projected, as will Meth Minute as will Ben Lancaster via Sattellite. This may be the most technologically ambitious event ever staged at the forest. Are there any good laptop masters who can help me on this?
We need sound and video from a laptop to projector / pa.

It is quite easy. You need a laptop with a VGA output to connect to the projector and a headphone socket (3.5mm jack) to connect to the mixing desk. Use something like Skype for the satellite link up. There is a Linux client in beta which supports webcams, but you might need to use Windows for this.
The Meth Minute videos are in .mov format, so you will need Quicktime or a suitable codec.
