Howdy! I am looking forward to experiencing "the Forest." I am new to town and recently took up a new post with a youth organization promoting traditional music in Edinburgh. I believe you've had events there before with EYG, Edinburgh Youth Gaitherin. We're looking for a trendy venue for an upcoming workshop weekend for 16-25ers who are in a leadership program within this realm of trad music. We are anticipating between 10-15 musicians looking for a space on the evening of Sunday, September 12 to showcase the results of their workshop time. A few may be under 18. Your cafe sounds ideal and fabulous! Any chance we can get in on that date?
Cheers!

Under 18s not a problem when we're not licensed. September = no problem.
To book the cafe for an event, you need to come in and ask at the counter for the events book. If the night you want is available, write your event in the book and you're sorted.
Make sure to read the info that's attached to the events book, so you know what's what.
