Tilt Shift Photo's

Cool technique to turn photos of real life in to images that look like models. These images are from readers and some work better than others.

it's amazing, I got really into the idea after seeing Dan Chungs photos of the Olympics from the Guardian website - It has an audio narrative explaining the tilt lens - then i realised the price. Do you think you can bodge one with an old slr + lens?

You can convert your lens to tilt-shift with a bellows but that's usually used to hide the effect on depth of field when the lens is centimetres away from the subject. It's funny how these photos get their effect from us being used to seeing badly taken macro-shots!
