Re: Swedish woodcarver from Berlin

Pretty unlikely that TK will be free in February. I think it books in a lot further in advance than that. The work on the website looks great though. Maybe an installation piece for the front room, or even the main room? Of course she would always be welcome volunteering in the kitchen. The problem ...

Re: NEW COUCH!-check it out!

I'm not keen on a furry chair. I think it confuses things and I think Scoutt is right when she says that sometimes there is barely enough space for humans. We are already one of the only places people can bring dogs and I don't see why dogs need to be on a chair while they are visiting the cafe or w...

Re: NEW COUCH!-check it out!

New couch is great!

Back in the olden days I always asked people with dogs to keep them off the couches. Can we make that a policy if it isn't already? Dogs on couches make the couches even dirtier than a lot of our customers. It's also bad for people with animal dandruff allergies (ie: moi).

Chris is handling Cave bookings these days so you should get in touch with him about any bookings.

I really don't think we qualify for APE and frankly, I would prefer to see that money actually used for climate change campaigning. The application isn't too complicated, but is some work considering that we would probably only get a few grand. Network for Social Change could be a possibility, but t...

Is this toilet still graffiti free? I keep thinking it's because everything is WHITE. And although that is very boring, I like the lack of graffiti...

Otherwise, I'm down with it, so long as hippy phraseology is kept to a minimum...(!)

Used to be £1 only at Farm Foods, but not since the Quorn takeover of vegetarian convenience products in the major (and evil) supermarkets. Afraid you might be stuck with the small (and evil) Real Foods.

There have been drum groups in both the hall and in the Cave before, and neither really worked out - although Cave was better, just because less could fit there. You can hear it all over the building and it's impossible to have any other events happening at the same time.
