there is far far far too much furniture in the cafe. someone needs to asses what we need / don't and what looks good / don't and then chuck / give away / sell the remainder.

This is a major issue because when events happen all the excess furniture needs to be moved and then blocks the fire exits etc.

who is on this?

From the last meeting minutes:

2. Furniture
- Anything shit should be thrown out: especially chairs - Chris
- Lots of couches right now: pick out best ones – Chakan
Slip covering
- We are on it, but it’s taking some time – Liz will do a sewing workshop around it
- What do we want? Chris digs satin. We’re not so sure. Should be rich, dark colours in the interest of hiding dirt

I think Chris went through the chairs - not sure. Nothing has been done with the couches - either with sorting of slip covering. Chakan?? Liz has been mia since pre-xmas.

At least temporarily, you could have the purple one in the cafe. It has a short back/high seat. We'll point it out when you come in.
