Lino cut workshop
Lino cut workshop
Hey pals,
Me, Brittonie, and Margarita were hoping to do a linocut workshop in the cafe tomorrow from 2 - 5 and wondering if we could use 30 quid (maybe less) of forest money for some materials.
We need -
about 20 small sheets of lino (small pieces are usually about 30p a peice.)
a couple small rubber ink rollers
ink
a couple linocutter handles, 4 quid each
blades, 10p each
and paper, which I can try and source from scrap at uni.
The only things that won't go back to forest for reuse, say when we get some workshops running at argyle house, are the sheets of lino, and we can ask for donations to make up the cost.
Does that sound reasonable?
Faith

Re: Lino cut workshop
I think it sounds reasonable to me -- that will add up to max £30, right?
Re: Lino cut workshop
Yep, that's an estimate. I'm not sure how much ink and rollers are in shops but I looking at prices online, it looks like rollers are about a fiver, same with ink tubs.

Do this again!
If you truly love film, I think the healthiest thing to do is not read books on the subject. I prefer the glossy film magazines with their big colour photos and gossip columns, or the National Enquirer. Such vulgarity is healthy and safe. ~ Werner Herzog

Wed, Thurs or Fri next week would work for me, if you're up for it...
