forgive me if this is posted somewhere else, just wondering who is coordinating the film nights at the moment?

we (evs girls) spoke about this during the last evs meeting...
we were wondering to carry with the film night but share the charge to choose the film between all of us..
but we can speak better tonight during the Cafè/Events meeting...

I think it is good to be not too democratic in choosing films. If everyone suggests things then you will end up showing a lot of crap that people could watch anywhere. As long as there isn't just one person picking just their favourite 1970's Danish zombie melodramas every week, the unwashed public will appreciate a personal and idosyncratic film programme.

A point I shall be making at the meeting tonight, if anyone's interested.

I'm starting in October.. Flyers and posters are ready... starting with Shortbus on (originally the 1st, but have to change it to another date, probably the 2nd depending on the evens planner..)
Second night is on the 15th of October, showing either Hedwig, or Tarnation.

It will in be the events book...
