The Best Thing You Have Found In the Free Shop

Post by Jimmy Bastard » Thu Mar 02, 2006 12:42 am

Some interesting titles have found their way into the free shop just late and have added up to half my reading habit.
So what's the greatest thing the free shop has ever gifted you?

Me:
packet of 12 potato waffles.
(birdseye too).

Anyone beat that?

hmm,

waffles is pretty good, i have had some super bonus finds as well, the ones i remember are:

underwater disposable camera (still unused, waiting for that underwater moment)
hifi speakers (believe me they go loud)
old skool tape carrying case (green - very handy)
painting of white horses on red background (on my wall)
red trousers (pajamas, when its cold)

probably some more things i cant think of...

not sure what the best thing i've ever put in the free shop is...
Maybe it could work? But it will be a kaleidoscopic blend of mysterious shadows and rainbow hued-dreams seen through compassionate tears.

I once put a piss sample in the free shop.
(it was August - I was feeling experimental)
It lasted three hours.

A fiver.
Some excellent soul had placed it under a paperweight.
Alas, it was past ten and I couldn't turn my find into wine.

2 half full bottles of whisky and an entire collection of original C MacNeill paintings including the legendary 'Nordic Transvestite Jesus'.
That was a happy day
