BOUNCE!

Post by doodlehut » Wed Jan 16, 2008 4:37 pm

hi there
am new to the workings of this bb.
with danny and ant am putting on a night on 1 feb called BOUNCE, downstairs at cafe, 8-11pm.

i'll give it a shout now so you know...

bouncy inspired night of hip hop poetry, acoustic spot, dj's, spacehopper races, energy balls and a trampoline! not cool just silly i reckon. playing to be alive and present and not having the mind worrying about anything else.

question to dai or anyone else who knows...

how do i submit a picture and a few words for it to go on the weekly forest events listings that i receive via facebook?

cheers
rosie x

Each week I type out the events direct from the Events Book, if your event is in, then it will go out in its due time, as a rule, I assign random images I find, sometimes apposite, sometimes not, depending on my mood.
If you have a poster for the event and want that particular image used in the listings.
Email it to me at boliviadarling@hotmail.com

hi there

is it possible to hang rope and elastic (bungee elastic or the strong stuff that physio therapists use) from the ceiling for bouncing with? i notice that there are strong looking ceiling hooks across the main downstairs ceiling.

is this a health and safety issue? if feasible is there a long enough ladder?

thanks

rosie

those hooks aren't so strong (if it's the one's I'm thinking of...) they used to hold up the false ceiling, could only take a few kilos i think, so if you're thinking what i think you're thinking i think you need to think again...!

that sounds like it could work. If I was you i'd test the hooks first, just climb up on a ladder and pull one. If it breaks or falls down you know the answer! But i think they could take some bouncy balls...

Be aware, burst bubbles quickly make the floor v. slippy.
