The magimix died

The cheapest option on Nisbets is this one, but Amazon has a few different brands like Kenwood that are much cheaper (but maybe less reliable?).

Is it repairable? They are expensive, but isn't that partly due to them being made to be repairable?

None of the Magimixes at Nisbets have a commercial warranty either. Is that a factor?

Maybe it could work? But it will be a kaleidoscopic blend of mysterious shadows and rainbow hued-dreams seen through compassionate tears.

Well, it's possibly repairable. I don't know much about these things.

I stopped Bridget using it when I saw bright orange flashes coming through the plastic. When he pressed the Stop button, nothing happened (cue low budget horror movie moment) and and after unplugging at the wall, it started to seep smoke so we took it out to the back alley. The power lead coming in is quite badly damaged and I suspect this was the cause.
