new can opener and salad spinner please

Post by Jane » Tue Apr 06, 2010 8:19 pm

Can admins or kitchen staff buy a new worktop mounted tin opener (the old one dates back to pre-Jane kitchen era and is totally fucked and only works if you have the "knack" and is, on all fronts, a severe pain in ass) and a new BIG salad spinner (the old one is tiny and the plastic bowl is cracked so water gets everywhere and I have seen a lot of wet green salads lately, ew).

Is there a catalogue we order kitchen stuff from?

I'd like to add a good(!) cork screw, a lighter that stays in the kitchen (haha) and candles to the shopping list. We only have a few tea lights left now so if we don't go to Ikea soon there won't be any more candle light at night time.

I could go and buy the stuff but I guess it makes more sense if Ken or somebody with a car goes so we can buy loads of candles, right?!

I could go on a candle run sometime next week. Want to come along & help?
