Oct 28th, 2008 | NEW YORK -- A New York City novelist and wife of the heir of the Hoover vacuum fortune is suing her sister, claiming that she hacked into a computer and stole portions of the manuscript of her latest book.

Tatiana Boncompagni Hoover says her sister, Natasha Boncompagni, filed the stolen chapters of the book with the U.S. Copyright Office after downloading them surreptitiously.

Tatiana is married to Max Hoover, heir to the vacuum cleaner empire. She published her first novel, "Gilding Lily," earlier this year.

Tatiana says Natasha stole parts of her second novel, "Hedge Fund Wives." She acknowledges that Natasha provided ideas for the forthcoming book.

Natasha Boncompagni tells The Wall Street Journal that the dispute is a private matter made public and refutes her sister's claims.
