Some not very nice news

Post by Susana » Mon Jan 21, 2008 10:32 am

On Saturday I found out that the whole front row of my items had disappeared. Very sad. There were 7 items and a receipts book and it looks very much that someone helped themselves to them (how pathetic, pleeeease). I thought it is quite possible that that lock can be open easily with a wire or so... Of course I took home the rest of my things.

I still think however that having a shop is a great resource to offer to people. But it needs obviously some changes: either the cabinet is moved to the cafe itself or we get a more robbers-proof display sytem . I also still think that it would be ideal to put it by the window somehow, so that we can maximise its potential (as it is it hardly sells anything, the very poor customers of the Forest not having much spending power...

What do you think?

If we have it by the Window it will be even further away from the main Cafe area. Maybe some picture or lists of what we stock and sell?

thats shit!

possible solution:

I get on with organizing the "indoor Market" in the front room...

this has been agreed by Forest WG.

it will be staffed.

it will contain the current Forest Shop stock.. (and loads of other stock)

ermmm.. how do we feel about partially reimbursing Susana for her loss?
