The forest needs soundengineers

Post by Julie » Sun Nov 15, 2009 7:31 pm

Are you one, or do you know one?
Then read this, and tell your friends!

We offer you:
- A great space to develop your skills in sound engineering
- Experience with live music
- As a volunteer at The Forest you get discounts on food and non-alcoholic drinks at
our café
- A free meal when you are doing sound engineering

About The Forest:
The Forest is a popular, alternative, volunteer-run, self-funded, independent, not-for-profit culture and art space located in the centre of Edinburgh. It is available to all people and is funded by its vegetarian/vegan cafe.
The Forest is open 7 days a week from 10am-11pm and we have events on almost every night.

Your job will be:
Helping the band set up their gear. Make a sound-check. Make sure the music sounds FAB while the band is playing. Help taking down the bands gear after the concert.
You will work any day you want - if there is a gig on.
OBS: This is not a free course – we expect you to be a sound engineer!
