bulk t shirts

Post by martinmckenna » Mon Oct 27, 2008 9:59 pm

Am doing some research into buying organic t shirts in bulk .

if we get in position that we want to buy a lot of t shirts . then it may be a good idea to buy samples from each suppler

prices i assume are vat free .

saf t shirts seems to be the best .

S->XXL box £3.65 packs of 10 £4.05 single £4.45

http://www.tradetag.co.uk/T-Shirts/Organic+Mens+T-shirt

Europeanwear

Sample £4.35, Pack £3.56, Case £3.42

pack is 10 and a case is 80

also for that non organic "ping"

these are a lot more expensive than buying from sainsburys , but they do come unbranded .

basically we should be thinking about the festival next year and the following xmas .

the budget needs to be sorted out .

On t-shirts: I haven't looked closely at your choices, but I think you should make sure there is some sort of fair labour standard involved as well. Sorry to add another complication... I think Neil did the last batch of t-shirt ordering. He may have some advice. I could probably dig something up if needed.

I don't think it necessarily needs a logo, as long as it looks like they've got an alright labour policy. Traidcraft is good.

but saftag have a more in detailed page about there policy. so i trust them a bit more, and cant find if the other one is . so lets assume they are not .

traidcraft is 4.75 if you buy 10 p&P 7.50 on order under £250

tradetag is 4.05 (which is the saf t shirts)p&P £6.95 + VAT.

all prices excluding vat .

you would have to buy 10 of each size tyo get these prices. or alternatively buy smaller quantity's and pay a bit more .

things to think about when buying is size . i guess medium is going to be the best seller . but will have to have other sizes . also womens t shirts . too . that could be a lot of stock .
