There's a band playing tomorrow (Fri 26th) at 1pm at Forest. These guys are playing The Bowery tonight, they are really good, interesting, different, competent. Unusual and beautiful mix of accordion, harmonies, cello, cabaret pop! The Debutante Hour. They're on www.myspace.com/thedebutantehour so check it out.

I second this, they are AMAAAZING. Three hypercool girls from Brooklyn and they have just been touring the UK playing with Shonen Knife (!!) and are now off to be on Polish radio. They also do a mean michael jackson impression.
