The Forest Bicycle Generator Workshop.

Post by nix » Sat Jan 10, 2009 1:37 am

Hello...

as part of the "Don't DiY Alone" gathering and symposium, 5-8th February 2009 .. the Forest will be facilitating The Forest Bicycle Generator Workshop.

An opportunity to learn about and build machines to generate power from pedaling.

we hope to have a week long workshop in the week from Sunday 8th to the 15th where we can make some cool stuff!

So we will be having planing/research meetings, on Wednesdays, (14/1, 21/1, 28/1, 4/2) from 5 till 9 somewhere in the Forest.

There is a lot to get together to make it cool, so we need to forge a strong team.

Matt Green is on board and he 'has a scoobie' when it comes to this sort of stuff!

it can be as cool as the Monster Bikes Workshop that was held in
April 07...

Lets do it!

See ya there!

Hello everyone. Unfortunately i can't make it until around 6 at the earliest this week as i have uni stuff to do (compulsory visit to a paint factory anybody?)
Maybe Nix will be around, but no worries if not- we should get on with fitting the alternator to the back of the wooden frame and painting the finished bike (currently on balcony).

See you at 6ish, matt
