Unique Beats Electronica Festival tickets now on sale-£5

So whether you are interested in Electronica and want to dance to the best of Scotland's up-and-coming and more established acts or are interested in making music and want to learn from the pro's...or both, then Unique Beats Festival should be right up your street. Tickets are now on sale at the ridiculous, credit crunch busting, lovely price of £5 for a whole day pass! Unique Beats-1 Day Electronica Festival-30th May 2009@The Roxy Arthouse and The Bowery

Edinburgh's 1st festival of electronica, dedicated to promoting all forms of electronic music-making

Live performances throughout the day and evening from:
Frog Pocket
Joe Acheson Quartet
Engine 7
Asthmatic Astronaut
Jakalby Ridler
and video performances by Melvitronica and The Amazing Rolo-creator of the Wii LoopMachine.

Workshops and demo stations will be running from midday until 6pm, hosted by:

Akai (APC40 Ableton controller Worldwide launch!!!)
Propellerhead (REASON)
Ableton(Ableton Live)
Native Instruments
Yamaha (Tenori-On).

Exclusive deals will be available throughout the day, and we'll be giving out prizes include a Roland SH201, Reason 4 and Sonar 8 Producer and much more worth well over £1000- to be in with a chance you must come to the venue before 3pm!

Visuals performed live by no !i input VJ collective.

Laptop Lounge will be hosting The Bowery downstairs from 5pm and there will be further live performances and DJ's in The Bowery's live room.

This will be an event the likes of which Edinburgh has not seen before and we hope to see you there.
