Monday 30th March


9pm - Monday, Movie & Muffin “Mary Poppins”
Long resistant to film adaptations of her Mary Poppins books, P.L. Travers finally succumbed to the entreaties of Walt Disney, and the result is often considered the finest of Disney's personally supervised films. The Travers stories are bundled together to tell the story of the Edwardian-era British Banks family and its magic nanny.

Tuesday 31st March

7pm till close - “PunkSka Nigth”
A night with punk and ska Music. Later on DJ’s set

Wednesday 1st March

7pm - Free Spanish Workshop
If you still don’t understand what your Spanish boy-friend says when he is drunk, you have to join this free spainish workshop. Do it this Wednesday! We will learn some basic grammar, try some conversation, play a game...just come over, FREE to everyone!

7pm - 78s from 7 to 8
Gramophone Hour 78rpm records played on a portable wind-up.

9pm - Blue Wednesday
The best unsigned acustic acts from Uk and North America.
The monthly gig organised at the Forest Cafe, which features some of the best contemporary singer/songwriters and poets from Edinburgh, Newcastle upon Tyne, Canada and the USA.

Thursday 2nd April

7pm - Ruthelise Snowe Rock, folk and rhythm and blues set.
Ruthelise will delight you with her guitar and her original songs.

9pm - Finger pickalicious
David Cass, Edinburgh based musician and eclectic artist presents acoustic and sperimental original songs with Gordon Simpson, most of them very recent.

Friday 3rd April
7pm - Stain band
Punk – rock band with its original songs

9pm - Split sword
Join Split Swords on their groove odyssey at the Forest Cafe on Friday 3rd April at 9.30pm.Even car crashes dont stop the Split Swords! Our bass player rolled his car three times on the Isle of Skye, breaking his collarbone, so we are playing as a three piece, semi acoustic, with percussion, acoustic and electric guitars.
