Re: FLYERS - publicity!!!!!!!!
Yes! Chris, this is totally how it should be done. There's a depressing amount of wasted flyers laying on the floors of Edinbrgh and it's a ridiculous waste, and I dn't like them in general. But if you talk to people you can get them excited about it, and you can be excited about the space, and peop...

Help needed tonight, last day before August extravaganzaaaa!
Yo! We've got some spaces tonight for volunteers. There's someone on from 7-close who's a Night Manager and will do either shift. So, there's a NM/7-close shift available and a 9-close too. And...don't forget to come and dance dance dance all over the festival time. We've got free events upstairs an...

The cuckoo clock was on the wall above the enterance in the cafe, not laying about somewhere. Someone will have had to take it off the wall.
The gun, assomeone actually snipped it off my piece.

Re: Lost/moved things
Has anyone seen the cuckoo clock? It was generously gifted to us with a huge amount of love, and it's gone. And it was magic. Seriously. Also, some f**ker snipped my orange nintendo gun off my spider 'art'piece. Has anyone noticed it anywhere? I don't care who took it, but if it can magically find i...

we don't really need a proper AGM, but it's usefull just to have a sit down and create a space for volunteers to voice their opinion. We did one before just in the cafe, it was pretty cool.

It's been five days since that last post. Is there a date set? Are the application forms around? You need to let KMs know about this sort of thing.

Me too. Especially about their interests. I try to tell people as much as possible to let us know if they want to do anything, no matter how cray-zee! It'll be nice to have a more specific idea.

We will be having a funeral for the trusty burrito. I can't wait till archeologists dig up the remnants of a full burrito meal in the future. It's getting closer to the festival, are we all commited to making this happen? I'm a bit scared, oooooooh! But it'll be awesome. We need the groundwork done ...

Martin - pass it on to the Dorkbot cru. It's functioning. When there's time to make stuff and the machine has been cleaned and ready to go. They're £2.50 (I think that's what Bryony charges), £1.25 for vollies and 75p for dorkbot people who made it happen. I reckon. Today's slushi smoothies (shloozi...

Oh, and the Slushi Machine has been fixed by dorkbot. We can have smoothies ready to go we make that morning, or sell cocktails. Or Boozey Smoothies. We cold only serve cocktails if we stick to the regulatory measures. I think if we keep to a recipe for 3 or so cocktails then only serve in half pint...

Friends of the Forest area?
we need to find a way to help and collaborate with other such organisations in Edinburgh. The first step and most simple way is to have a clear area on one of our walls which other organisations can advertise. Similarly minded people going to these other places will take note of their support for us...

At tonight's Cafe and Events meeting people were in general in favour of making some changes to be implemented one or two weeks ahead of the festival. The final decisions will be made by people who understand how the kitchen works and have the foresight of how crazy it gets during the festival. Thos...
